Alternatively, pop it into a container, and it's a delightful patio plant. This warm-climate beauty is native to Texas, Arizona, and Northern Mexico and is a larval host for swallowtail butterflies. Choisya × dewitteana appreciates good drainage, so it should be grouped with other low-water-need plants, such as buddleia.
